The old ballroom of this large, Gothic country house, a huge, empty white space, needed to double as a big party room and a comfortable, family-friendly playroom for children. I devised a single, hexagonal sitting area with two huge sofas centred on a big, elliptical ottoman, with Perspex cube tables to add a pop note to the very classical architecture of the room.
